Born into a home where education and discipline were non-negotiable, Paul was raised by a Marine pilot father and a college instructor mother. But life took a sharp turn at just 13 years old when he lost his father. Suddenly, his mother became the pillar of strength for him and his brothers, navigating the challenges of raising a family on her own. Money was tight, stress was high, and the temptation to take an easier route was always there.
Growing up in Philadelphia, Paul found himself at a crossroads. He saw friends—young men just like him—get caught in cycles of violence, incarceration, and tragedy. The reality of where his path could lead was clear. It was then that he made a decision—he wanted better. He deserved better.
